Booking

You must be at least 18 years old to attend a consultation, whether in person or online.

Each booking is valid for one individual participant only. Attendance by multiple individuals under a single booking is not permitted unless explicitly agreed by my prior to booking.

In the event that I am forced to cancel a consultation, your fees will be refunded in full. No liability is accepted for any loss due to the rescheduling or cancellation of a consultation.

I reserve the right to defer, reschedule or change a consultation if circumstances demand.

I reserve the right to refuse a consultation or to terminate a consultation before its scheduled end time if I believe that I my best judgement, the consultation is not suitable for you, and that it would not be in your best interest for the consultation to continue.

Current UK law obliges me to state that all consultations given are for educational and entertainment purposes only. Where medical, legal or financial advice is required, you must consult an appropriately qualified and regulated practitioner in the relevant field.

Cancellation and Refunds

Should you need to cancel your consultation, please contact me as early as possible, and no later than 24 hours before your consultation, so that we can discuss a deferral of your consultation or a refund of fees paid to date.

Where I must cancel your consultation for any reason, you will be offered a deferral of your consultation or a refund of fees paid to date.

No refund will be given if

  • You give notice of cancellation fewer than 24 hours before your consultation

  • You do not attend your consultation without notice

  • You leave your consultation early for any reason

  • You arrive late for your consultation and admittance is not possible

  • No refund or credit note is available if you attend your consultation and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content

No liability is accepted for

  • Loss or damage to property whilst attending an in-person consultation organised

  • Losses or additional expenses incurred in attending a consultation, arising from delays or changes in travel services, sickness, weather or any other cause

  • Inability to attend a consultation due limitations or failures of your internet connection, your computer and any associated hardware and software

  • Servicing emails arriving in your spam or junk folder or being undelivered due to your own email settings

  • Non-receipt of emails due to your misspelling of your own email address at any time

Anyone wishing to take part in a consultation whether in person or remotely, is embarking on a personal journey of investigation and exploration that should not be entered into lightly. All attendees are expected to take personal responsibility for themselves and attendance at consultations is at the individual's own risk without liability on the part of Helmsman Mediums.

Please be aware that it is not advisable to take part in consultations while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

Participants are expected to be punctual and behave with respect at all times. 

Recordings

Where you request the recording of consultations delivered via Zoom, where possible, recording will be enabled via the Zoom app, retaining the recording on the Zoom server. As soon as possible after the completion of the consultation, a link will be forwarded to you via which you will be able to download the recording from the Zoom recording service. It then remains your responsibility to access the recording in a timely fashion. No liability is accepted for the operation or use of the Zoom recording facility, nor the privacy and security of your recording made therein

The content of all audio and visual recordings remains the sole copyright of Helmsman Mediums and must not be used for public purposes. Any public use constitutes a breach of UK Copyright Law.

I regret that due to the complexities of doing so, I am unable to permit recordings of in-person or telephone consultations

Personal recording, filming or transcription of any part of any consultation whether online or in person is not permitted.

Law in Force

The law of the United Kingdom shall apply in all transactions with Helmsman Mediums, irrespective of the residence or location of the client at the time of the consultation.
